What We Use to Make Keto, Fitness & Life Easier

Progress doesn’t care if it’s pretty it just cares that you showed up.

We get asked all the time “What do you guys use for this?” or “What should I buy to get started?”
And our honest answer is always: Use what you have. Just start with what you can.

But we also believe in the power of the buy-in theory investing in yourself, your health, and your environment in a way that makes it harder to quit.

If a new pair of sneakers gets you out for a daily walk do it.
If an Instant Pot “forces” you to cook at home instead of eating out do it.
If a new supplement or a pair of gym shorts helps you reset your momentum we’ve done that too.

This page isn’t about flashy gear or influencer must-haves.
It’s just our real-life list the tools, supplements, and gear that have helped us stay consistent through travel, stress, plateaus, and busy days.

If we had to start over, these are the exact things we’d grab first.

Supplements We Use Consistently

These aren’t magic pills and we don’t take a hundred things.
But these are the core supplements we keep in rotation because they’ve helped us with energy, recovery, focus, and staying consistent—especially during workouts or travel.

We’ve personally used and tested everything on this list. If it’s here, it earned its place.

Electrolytes

When we first started keto, we had no idea how important electrolytes were. These helped eliminate headaches, brain fog, and low energy during the transition and we still use them daily.

Here’s a link to the ones we like →

Creatine Monohydrate

Supports strength, recovery, and muscle retention especially on low-carb diets. It’s one of the most researched supplements out there, and a no-brainer if you lift or train.

Magnesium Glycinate

This one is all about sleep, muscle relaxation, and recovery. It also helps with keto cramps and stress. We take it most nights.

Zinc

Zinc is great for immune support, hormone balance, and overall recovery. We add this in especially during stressful travel weeks or when sleep is off.

Biotin

Biotin supports hair, skin, nails, and metabolic health. A solid addition if you're focused on body composition or dealing with dry skin during early keto phases.

We don’t believe in overloading your system with 15 different pills. These five make a real difference and we’ll always keep it real with what actually works for us.

Home & Travel Fitness Gear

We understand the gym can be intimidating, crowded, or just not realistic with your schedule.
That’s why having gear you can use at home or even in a hotel room or driveway matters.
Being able to work out quickly, privately, and on your own terms is way better than doing nothing at all.

These are the tools that make that possible for us. They’re compact, effective, and easy to take anywhere.

Resistance Bands (With Door Anchor)

These take up zero space but offer serious versatility pulls, presses, curls, legs, whatever you need. Great for strength workouts and stretching, especially on the road.

Push-Up Handles

Push-ups, dips, handstand work, core activation these take bodyweight workouts to the next level. Plus, they’re easier on your wrists than doing reps on the floor.

Jump Rope

This is our go-to for fast cardio. Easy to pack, great for warmups or quick workouts when time is tight. Surprisingly underrated fat-burner.

Workout Mat

Whether we’re stretching, lifting, or just need a surface that isn’t concrete or hotel carpet this mat comes with us. Roll it, toss it in the car, done.

RipSticks (A compact power house)

When space is at an absolute premium, this is the best option.
Small, lightweight, ultra-portable and you need almost zero space for the workouts.

Here’s the exact RipStick we pack →

Adjustable Weights (Bowflex Dumbbells)

For at-home workouts, these are game-changers. One set gives you tons of weight options without taking up your living room. Heavy enough for legit training even if you're short on space.

Kitchen Tools That Make Keto Easier

Let’s be honest eating out has gotten crazy expensive, and when you do go out, you’re giving up control over ingredients, oils, hidden sugars, and portions.

If you’re serious about making keto sustainable, you need to make food at home as often as possible and the right tools make that not just doable, but easy.

We’re not gourmet chefs but we cook a lot.
These tools help us prep real food quickly, stay on track when life gets chaotic, and even upgrade our “treat” meals without wrecking progress.

Air Fryer

Crispy meals, minimal cleanup, and fast cook times this is hands-down one of the most used appliances in our kitchen. We use it for everything from chicken thighs to veggie fries.

Instant Pot (Pressure Cooker)

Whether it’s pulled pork, shredded chicken, or bone broth, the Instant Pot gets it done in a fraction of the time. Great for bulk cooking and meal prep with minimal effort.

Ninja Creami

This thing changed the game for us. You can make your own keto-friendly ice creams, smoothies, and frozen treats you control every ingredient.

Being able to enjoy dessert without wrecking your progress is a next-level win.

Here’s the Ninja Creami we use →

Electric Tea Kettle

We use this daily for coffee, tea, and fast boiling water when we’re cooking. Super useful for travel and small kitchen setups too.

Immersion Blender

Great for blending sauces, soups, and even protein coffee in seconds no cleanup nightmare. This is one of those tools you don’t think you need… until you get one then you will question what you have been doing with your life.

These aren’t just nice-to-haves. These are the tools that help us eat real food faster, prep smarter, and stay consistent without feeling overwhelmed.

Whether you’re just getting started or getting back on track, these are the tools that make a difference.
We’ve used every one of them ourselves some daily, some weekly, but all of them have played a role in helping us build a lifestyle that works.
Take what fits your life, your goals, and your budget—and leave the rest.
Even one small change can create momentum.
